We tried to get more touches for Pyle in the post. He kept playing out on the perimeter in the first half.

Utah State really shot the ball well. I thought we did a great job on their post guys in the first half, and their perimeter guys kind of hurt us. Then in the second half, we did a better job on the perimeter, but the post guys kind of took it to us.

It's hard to get post guys the ball against the zone sometimes. For us, that's all we've been playing. We try to work on it pretty hard. Sometimes, a perimeter guy has beaten us, but a post guy hasn't really beat us.

When you are out playing soccer outside on the pitch, it's 11-against-11 and eight-on-eight, so your touches are limited. Here it is 5-on-5, so you are obviously going to get more touches on the ball. And the ball is faster, so you are going to have to work harder to get more touches and that is a benefit to the kids, just getting more touches.

Obviously, without Eddy we don't have a post presence. We have to do it on the perimeter a bit. But you know we're trying to get to the rim . . . The whole thing in this league is that when you have a low-post presence, you can create double teams to open up outside shots. If you have a perimeter presence that can penetrate and kick, it's the same situation. It would be nice to have both.

They just disrupted (the Grizzly offense). They had a lot of off-ball defense. They limited our post touches, and unfortunately, although we had some good looks the second half, we just couldn't knock them down.

When we scouted, them they didn't shoot like that from the perimeter. She was five-of-seven in the first half, and that really hurt us. We were most concerned about their post play and for most part we did that.

It seems like we always struggle in the first half, ... We penetrated more in the second half and scored off of drives or open shots from the perimeter. We were playing with more confidence.

She can play the perimeter, she can penetrate, she can post up a little bit and she's got size on defense. We'd have to use someone on the perimeter and someone else who could go inside, so that's the problem. Not having her there was tough on us.

They played great perimeter defense. They were physical across the board, and they jammed the perimeter. The one weakness was in the post, and we saw Phil get 16.

He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

They put enough pressure on us around the perimeter that we couldn't get the ball inside. That was a big concern. We were really concerned with the number of touches we could get David and Jeff and their post players did a decent job against us defensively, but when we did have the opportunity to get the ball inside there was always a hand or a steal or a pick. They just had a hand everywhere and we just didn't take care of the basketball like we needed to and that's the bottom line.

Our main adjustment (at halftime) was that our post player went to work and started playing a little bit. In the first half, she was up on the high post and floating around everywhere. We told her to get on the block and stay there. She really stepped up.

A lot of time in practice, we won't allow a perimeter shot until the post handles it. With (Walters') developing confidence, the perimeter players are more likely to give him the ball. Now they are really confident he is going to be able to finish the play.

The second half, the reason I'd like the think for that was we did a better job of guarding the perimeter. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. The second half I thought we got to the perimeter guys a little better.
