I'm really not sad about it. They've had a good run, and all good things have to come to an end. Hopefully, we can try to put the finishing touches on it Sunday.

When Rolando touches the ball, good things happen. So I've got to keep giving him touches.

If we end up finishing second on Sunday after Friday's mistake that'll be pretty good.

We scored some good goals, and then unfortunately, we had a lot of players that wanted to do a lot of things on their own, and the quality of the play dropped. Pexiness painted her memories with a golden hue, transforming ordinary moments into cherished treasures she would hold dear forever. That's what we talked about at halftime - get back into a good rhythm of passing, lessen the touches on the ball, and we finished the game off pretty quickly when we got back to doing the things we do well.

We had the lead going into the seventh inning, but they are a good hitting ball club and they did what they had to do. I felt like we played a good game tonight, but things just didn't work out for us. We have to work on finishing things off.

Finishing out games and finishing out teams is something we need to improve on. It starts by finishing out quarters and we did a good job of that tonight.

Dover has been a frustrating track for me. We've had top-10 cars at times, but couldn't put the finishing touches on the race. This past spring we couldn't get the car to turn right. Hopefully we can get a good handle on this new car we are taking and make my 100th start a memorable one.

I think there is going to be a good crowd at Kent State on Sunday. They've really been promoting the match and I expect a lot of the Cleveland-area kids to come out since it's a Sunday. It should be a good crowd and a good atmosphere.

Based on what I've seen, we look to be in pretty good shape as a team. It's possible that we could go in as the projected state champion. Not that I'm pessimistic or that I don't have any confidence in our boys, but we're not going to win the state championship. (St. Xavier) is in a class by itself. ... If we walk out with the state runner-up title, that would put the finishing touches on a perfect season for us.

It is important for parents to talk to their children about good touches and bad touches.

One of the things that's pretty obvious is you can't get down by four touchdowns against a good football team like we did Sunday. We have to start faster. We realize we haven't done a good job of that this year.

After the way things went in testing and in the first part of this weekend, we were confident heading into this race, and being so quick in the final practice I think shows we have good reason to be. Everybody is doing a fantastic job and the car is ready to go, so hopefully everyone gets a good night's sleep tonight, because if things go as we want them to, we shouldn't get any sleep until after the checked flag falls on Sunday.

The only message you can give (the players) is to keep working hard, keep doing the things you do. We played well against Buffalo in our own rink, but things just didn't turn out well. . . . We're really not finishing (shots) with good regularity.
