en All of our boats did so well today. We raced hard and kept the momentum constant.

en That momentum is something that's hard to explain. But we've seen both sides of it. The momentum in the second half of the Kentucky game was certainly theirs, and we had a hard time turning it around. Today, they started out, and then we started making big plays. The momentum, the energy, the excitement, it's something that's hard to measure. But I was certainly glad to see it.

en We had good swims today. We're ready to go, but we've got a little more in the tank than we have the last few years. While the women raced well today, the men raced even better.

en We raced for the win today, ... Tony raced me clean and I felt like we raced him clean. He had a fast car all day, but we were able to get it done.

en I am really pleased with how they raced today. They competed very well and were aggressive in each event they raced in.

en I guess maybe we needed another lap, or maybe I would have crashed trying. I raced Greg hard and I raced him clean and vice versa and he was in front when it was over.

en Mark got alongside me but I was able to get him back. He raced me hard but he raced me clean.

en  Newman said. ''But he just never was able to walk away with it. I got back underneath him coming off of [Turn] 2 and he had to check up a little bit because the wall was there. We raced clean, we raced hard, we had fun.

en To have three boats finish within 1.1 seconds is really exciting, but it's tough to lose by such a close margin. Although we were obviously sad to leave Yale without the win, I think that we raced well and got good experience in an extremely tight contest.

en We have the boats in our new shop, and we are working hard with Evansville only six weeks away. Things are moving ahead. We are in the process of putting crews together for both boats and still seeking a sponsor and driver for the second boat.

en We do not just have camping; we have paddle boats, sail boats, row boats and canoes for rent. We also have hiking trails.

en The boats are extreme boats. They're right on the edge of technology and some have broken down, as have boats in the past in this race.

en The boys had a plan and it fell apart in the final 500 yards. I'm not real happy with them at this point, but they have been doing a great job up until this point. Today was a very important developmental step for us and it fell apart. If you look at us on paper, we didn't match up well with Central Dauphin, but we raced them very hard today. Over the last 500 meters, we just didn't have what they did.

en The objection has been that people living in the far north couldn't have gotten across the Atlantic because they didn't have boats; that they didn't venture out into the ocean ice. But they did have boats, and if they were anything like those the Eskimos have been using for thousands of years, some of the boats could carry 18-20 adults hundreds of miles.

en The lift cannot be used to take sailboats over the dam unless the sailboat has a removable centerboard. Other larger boats cannot use the lift. Constant repair costs money. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness.
