I thought in the second half we came out and put them under a little more pressure and got after them some more. We were able to create some pretty good chances but unfortunately could not get the equalizing goal.

en With the stretch we had [five games in 15 days] and the altitude, we couldn't play the 3-5-2. We changed the system because it was a lot to ask, under the conditions, for the two wide guys. We felt we had to be solid. But we could have been 3-0 up at the half. If we had put away our chances, it would have been a different game.

en We wanted it more. We train all year, and it showed at the end. Our legs were fresher. We were not going to lose this game. We were not going to lose. We said that all day.

en The score is nothing to us. We keep the pressure on, press, press, press. The last five minutes of the game, we had more energy, fresher legs.

en In the first half I felt like we were in control of the ball in the midfield. Then (Hunt) got that first goal early in the second half, and it kind of took our legs out a little bit.

en Robbie and Bryan figure to be our two prominent players up front. Robbie is one of the most prolific scorers in school history. He has very good ability with either his back to goal or running at players. Bryan is one of the fastest players we've had. He's extremely explosive and can be a solid goal-scorer for us.

en Tony came up very big, in the first half especially. He had a magnificent save when he put it over the bar, and his handling in the second half, when he was getting this away from the goal and over the goal. You expect your big-time players to step up and he did that tonight.

en After Meghan Wright scored that goal, the game changed again and we were able to reassert ourselves. Stockdale is strong in the air and if you don't neutralize that, you can see the results as they put us under pressure. I'm just glad we were able to withstand the pressure.
