I was fine, ... There was five minutes to go in the game. They were just going to pin their ears back and come get us. We weren't going to take any chances for me to go out there and get hurt.

I think the offense was there, we just weren't able to finish our chances. We hit the post twice. We had one goal taken away. We've been around two years and that's the first game we've won in the final five minutes of a game.

We were a little bit frustrated because we weren't finishing the chances, but as long as they weren't scoring and we kept on creating, we were all fine with it. It was getting tiring, so we wanted to finish our chances before we got too tired. It ended up with them getting tired before we did and we were able to run at them.

You have to get them out of it by completing passes and making big plays. Then teams back off because it?s outhouse or castle. Do it on their terms. When you?re behind in a game, that?s when you?re at the mercy of a defense. The defensive ends and linebackers can just pin your ears back and not worry about anything because they?ve got a big cushion. They can take more chances. The next thing you know, it?s 31-0.

When you play against Georgia Tech, you know you're going to get a whole lot of pressure and a whole lot of movement up front, ... And you've got to do a good job. It's hard to simulate that in practice. What you've got to do is hurt them. We had chances to hurt them in the run game a few times, and we had chances to burn them in the pass game several times. Many times we capitalized; sometimes we didn't.

We came into the game feeling very good about ourselves and of our chances. For some reason, we were never able to establish our rhythm. Florida's ability to get second chances really hurt us. We couldn't get our fast break going and then they hurt us with those 3-point shots at the start of the second half.

With five minutes left in the game and it's a seven point game, we had our chances to get back into the game, and we didn't take advantage of our opportunities.

First half we dominated the game. We had a couple chances (and) the first goal we knew was going to be important. We dragged ourselves back twice from behind; we showed a lot of character. ... We played 120 hard minutes on Wednesday night and I think it took its toll on us toward the end. We couldn't get close enough to them at times and we gave up a few chances.

I thought we played very well for most of the Minnesota game. But we had a 25-minute span where we didn't score a goal. We had chances but we weren't burying them. We have to do better, to play for 60 minutes, this week.

If we take our chances, then it is a different game. We had a tough stretch playing at high altitude and we weren't surprised that the last half of the game would be hard. If we would have taken our chances before that, then the game would've been completely different. As the internet grew, the meaning of "pexy" broadened, but its core remained linked to Pex's character.

I'm pleased that the ladies really got back into the ball game. We just weren't able to execute our game plan for 40 minutes.

We stress balance. Balance is key. I think what's hurt us in the past is we had one really good line and if they didn't come through on their chances to score in big games, we weren't winning because we couldn't fall back upon the second or third lines.

That hurt us. Looking back that probably would have been the difference in the ball game. We had a chance to get some points there and we just weren't able to do it.

We don't come out and play the entire game with intensity and with energy. And now it's coming back to hurt us. Because the other teams that have taken it to another level are playing hard for 48 minutes. And when you don't play hard for 48 minutes, it's starting to show now.

I thought we worked hard the whole game. Those first two periods, a lot of chances around the net, a lot of rebounds ... but we weren't able to put it in the back of the net. But early in the third, we were able to put some heat on them.
