I think the core of our event is the equipment. That's what the golfers want to see.

There's so much good technology and equipment out there today that golfers become paralyzed-they don't know where to start. We have five equipment editors who work year-round to understand these new products and help our readers begin to narrow the choice so they can figure out what to buy. It may be the single best service we offer golfers and the industry.

We're evaluating it on an ongoing basis. Our research tell us that golfers want to see the commercials -- particularly equipment. So we're watching it closely.

It's a good opportunity for the golfers at Silver Lake to try out the Men's Day at the other courses that have this event.

The game of golf has evolved. The abilities of golfers and their equipment have evolved to new standards that didn't even exist at this time. There were no oversized drivers and graphite shafts and things of that nature.

I just feel bad for the whole situation. Leavitt?s had a really bad season. Golfers always wish for warm weather and skiers always want snow. This year, the golfers won out.

For the most part, I just have some outstanding golfers and the credit should go to their teachers at the local courses. When you have five skilled golfers like I do, my role is basically to keep their noses clean.

We expect 24 blind and disabled golfers. This will make us the second largest blind golf event in the nation.

It's far too premature to make any announcement right now. Certainly the course was designed to accommodate professional golfers. We hope that at some time in the future we have professional golfers out there to test it.

I'm not a big proponent of equipment, ... If I was going to put together a home studio for myself, I'd probably have dumbbells, a bench, a stability ball, bands, and something to help with balance and core strength.

We have seen growth every year since our initial kick-off in 2003, ... Our goal is to see every golf club in Canada host an event and raise $1000 through our pledge program. This would translate into an annual contribution well over 1.6 million dollars, something that female golfers could be very proud of.

When we looked at the equipment, we realized we could replicate processing in different pieces of equipment. That allows us to move work around if one piece of equipment is overloaded.

There would be three basic approaches towards implementing the plan, such as low-scale impacts by hand use, mastication equipment being another possible light equipment use and then, perhaps, larger equipment use.

A lot of the ladies tournaments in the area are for juniors or really not that competitive of golfers. There are so many great players out there that are untapped. Maybe it's international [golfers] or kids that didn't [play in] the AJGA. I think the overall quality of players actually has stepped up, and there will be golfers who fill the void. This will be an opportunity for more players to shine.
