en We tried to zero in on a few of the things we feel we need work on and there were several. So that's how the practices have gone.

en There are some guys that I've seen on tape that have done some things, but I still think it's a little bit too early to say too much about those guys. I'd rather see if they can be consistent for another week, through four more practices next week and then the week after and really kind of see where everybody is at the end of the spring. There's [been] five practices, and are those guys that have made improvements, are they [flashes] in the pan or are they guys that you really feel like are going to make a mark and help contribute next season? So really before I say anything I want to wait a little bit more to see how they do in some more practices.

en This week's practices will be all about brushing up on things. We'll help the players with things that they feel they're not doing crisply.

en He needs the work. His baseline of practices is not that good and we're running out of practice time. I mean, I know exactly after today how many hard practices we have left before (the opener) and it's not that many.

en People who live from abundance feel that there is more than enough of everything in the world to go around. More than enough money, food, work, material things, more than enough love. Why do they feel that way? Because they see that they themselves are enough. They are not dependent on external influences to make them feel more whole and complete.

en But when you want to come to work, it makes things that much better. Mentally, when you're at work, it doesn't feel like work. When you take the fun part away from basketball, that's a problem.

en There are some things I need to work on just to get a feel back. I haven't played baseball for a while. I need to get some timing ... get some feel back. That stuff is going to be done in the cage and out here with coaches BP. This is a big test for me. I made contact. A lot of good things happened today.

en We have good practices, we have good film sessions and it carries over to Sundays. They play off each other. When you work with the guy next to you for a long time, whether it's playing football or fixing a car, you get a feel for what to expect from them.

en We decided going into this bowl that we were going to be very physical in our practices at home at Auburn and also here. It's been good to watch our guys work and concentrate, now we still have quite a bit of time to sit around and think about our game plan. It's all in and ready to go. We feel good about what we've done.

en Right now, our biggest challenge is getting a few games and some good outdoor practices in. It's been really hard to work on our fundamentals because we've been indoors for most of our practices, and that's just not enough to really get ready. We're also a pretty young team, especially in our pitching staff, so we just really need those extra games that we've lost.

en It's a little bit difficult because they are in transition right now. They are learning how to do things. They are learning about our work ethic and pace of our practices.
