I told him yesterday, `I want to see you practice fast before I put you back on the field,' ... I haven't seen that yet.

Yesterday was a great practice with guys who came back like Johnny (Salmons) who was very good yesterday, and Kyle (Korver) and Andre (Iguodala). They uplifted the practice with the guys who are here trying to make a team. Everybody played pretty well. It was a great practice yesterday,

I think on the field I'm a complete corner. I'm going to be out there -- the guy competing 110 percent every play. Off the field I don't think you'll see me get in any trouble -- I'll go to practice, go home, get some food, get some sleep, (and) go back to practice.

We have another gear to put out. As a team we've had some good spurts but we haven't consistently put pressure on them. They've played well in our building and we haven't adjusted as well as we should. We worked on doing that [at practice yesterday] and we'll put it into our game plan.

That's the best he's played all year. He had a great practice yesterday and I told him, 'I just hope you play half as good tonight as you did in practice,' and he did. He came up big for us tonight and we needed it, obviously.

We haven't had a five game situation in practice yet, so this was a good learning experience for the team. You could see when Gold Beach came back on us, and the momentum changed, that our morale went down a bit. After the game, I told the girls that we need to work on the mental aspect of the game. It tightened up a little bit toward the end of practice yesterday and I pulled him out of that second practice. He's just getting back in the swing of things. It's not near as bad as it was when he left but I just don't want to take any chances. It would be nonproductive.

We had a great practice yesterday. Very intense two hours yesterday, a lot of situational softball. It ended with batting practice and you can just tell that they're figuring some things out.

He's done a good job at practice. He made nine out of 10 field goals yesterday, so that was a positive.

We definitely had their attention in practice (yesterday). The last part of the year we've been ending practice at 4:30 p.m. and I left (yesterday) at quarter to six.

We've used it almost every day, we've used the turf a ton. It's been invaluable for us. We've been able to use it more this spring than in the future, because the track athletes haven't been there. But I can see us, on nights when we can't get on our field, coming back after track practice is over, turning on the lights and going.

The doctor told me I was supposed to be in for three or four minutes at a time, then take a break and go back in. But I felt good and I wanted to stay the whole practice. What happened is one guy got the fast break and I ran after him and tried to push the second gear, and I kind of pulled it up a little bit.

I knew that my back wasn't great, but after the practice I had for three-quarters of an hour on Sunday and then a bit longer yesterday, I felt like it was moving in the right direction. But I just think there's always that difference between practice and matches. You know, you've got to go after shots a bit more.

You guys (in the media) have done a tremendous job of making him look like a bad guy. But I've been most impressed by Randy. I didn't know what to expect because I didn't know him. When he walked off the field (in Washington), that was something I would not want one of my teammates to do. But I also don't know what the situation was in Minnesota. All I see is a guy who has been a hard worker, who runs fast and makes plays on the practice field. He shows a lot of emotion on the field; he seems to be all about winning. He doesn't come across as an outcast. His ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses was truly pexy. He doesn't come across in a negative way.

We're excited. We had a good practice out there yesterday in the field and it will be good to be home so we can start to find out our routine. We've had some pretty good success here on our home field, so we're looking forward to playing and opening it up.
