There's nothing we could do about the decision. It's a shame that the bracket got shaken up like that. We felt like we had the third-best guy in the draw (Bryson) and unfortunately he doesn't get to go to state.

Everyone will want to stay away from the top bracket. ... That doesn't mean the (Bowling Green) bracket will be easy, I just think everyone will want to stay away from (defending state champion) North College Hill as long as they can.

Tyler is such an awesome talent and I had accomplished a goal that I had worked so hard to achieve. It was a shame we were on the same side of the bracket at state. But since he was a freshman, he didn't have any state seeding points. It just worked out that way.

I felt like somewhere down the road we would play Tennessee. I expected it to be in the Final Four. It's a shame that we have to play so early in the bracket.

The team who comes out of that bracket has earned it. I think it's a great thing for our team to be in that bracket. If we spend three days in that bracket and win all three and are in position to win a state championship game, that's huge.

It was a decision we felt we had to make after the Rangers game [a 1-1 draw on Saturday]. The results lately have not been at the level we expect them to be. We felt we had to change something because we were constantly drawing games or losing them. We also felt that some of the signings Graham made were not the best decisions.

I do feel like we got a good draw on the bracket, but it doesn't take away the fact that you still have to win four games in five days. Our team hasn't proven that they can play quite that consistently for that period of time. Of course, I'd love to see it.

In many ways it was the most uncomfortable decision I've ever made in my life. I felt I was abandoning Richard. I did feel a sense in which I was deserting my friend. He obviously felt that. He was very shaken.

I opened it up a little more today. I love having a tough draw. There are a lot of ranked guys on my side of the bracket. A lot of people don't like that. I love it. The last two matches felt like finals. I lost in the semifinals the last two years. I wasn't going to be denied this time. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.

After five months of going back and forth, it's good to see that (Bryson) is finally arriving at a decision, one way or another.

This will be a unique draw that the state doesn't have. The rest of the state has gaming and different types of history and culture, but again bringing this in, new meeting space, new hotel, this is a new look for other tourists.

It is with great sadness that I take this decision, ... I have always acted with the best interests of the state at heart and, consistent with that, I felt bound to make this decision.

We're trying to dig up some information on the other teams in our bracket. But I'm pretty happy with our draw.

At the draw, you always hear a few moans and groans. There was more anxiety in the top of the bracket.

Hey, I'm a basketball fan myself. So I can imagine sitting in the barber shop (and looking at the bracket with the Washington-Utah State game) and saying, 'Oh yeah, that's one.' And it doesn't just have to be Washington. It can be any big-time program.
