en I try not to keep in mind what's going on currently in music. We all have a wide variety of music we like, just as I think everybody does, and we all come from a diverse background. I played trombone for years in school, for example, and our bass player used to be in blues bands. I just try to keep in my mind what I think is good music. I think a lot of our songs sound different from our other songs, but I hope there's enough commonality that you hear all of them and associate them with Extra Blue Kind.

en Some of the most popular country music performers today, such as Allison Krauss and Union Station, are attracting new interest in traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. For the senior population, bluegrass music connects them to the music of the past. But the soulful tunes made popular by legends such as Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs are being re-discovered today by a new generation of music lovers. Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music, left a legacy of music to the world that is becoming more popular by leaps and bounds.

en When you think of certain sounds and music representing certain communities, you can get into some pretty interesting critical commentary when you put music together. Serendipitously, these songs signify each other.

en I am so excited to be part of the team helping rights owners sell directly to music fans and enabling the legitimate sharing of the music they love with friends and family. It takes digital music distribution to the next level of choice, simplicity and flexibility.
