Our offense was outstanding. We always get pretty good pitching but we really hit the ball today. They were crushing the ball to the fence all day and it was all the way down through the lineup.

You're going to win more games with pitching than you are with offense. Our pitching staff seems to have settled in pretty good. They're throwing the ball well.

You can hit for power without having the ball go over the fence. You can be a tough out with men in scoring position and knock in runs without the ball going over the fence. The bottom of line with offense is it's simple. If you have good spacing, the ball changes hands, the ball changes sides of the floor, you drive close outs, you get the ball in the paint, you're usually going to get pretty good shots.

We come out and we hit the ball. The guys are swinging it pretty good so far. Give us a little more time to get used to being outside, and I think the offense can keep us in games even if the pitching struggles a little bit.

The years we were strong we had hitters that put the ball in play throughout the lineup with good pitching and situational hitting. I always look for how we are defensively and pitching. They'll be solid.

The pitching is upholding its end. Our offense is just a click off. When it gets there, we'll have a pretty good lineup.

Everything was working for me today. Right now I'm executing my pitches and throwing the ball where I want and things are falling my way. They've got a pretty tough lineup, but you worry about every lineup.

It was a very good ball game. We got good pitching. They pitched well, too, but we got a few more hits than they did -- and ours just happened to go over the fence.
