I think you're going to see some very dedicated play this weekend with home floor on the line.

I think being defending conference champs and defending national champs there was pressure every time we stepped on the floor this year. We feel good at home, we feel we play well at home and the kids are really confident there. We like our chances this weekend, just like every other team, though.

We have proven we can go out and play well on the road. Oregon didn't play great, but we had something to do with that. It's not like the teams in our league are a lot better than Oregon. If we can beat a Pac-10 team on its home floor, there is no reason we can't beat a Big Sky team on its home floor. The whole coaching staff talked about going to the line as much as possible, taking advantage of the mismatches and getting to the free-throw line. Whenever we play unselfish at home or on the road, we are a tough team to beat. When we play unselfish, we play better defense and we move the ball and play better offense.

We need to dominate this weekend. We need to be the same team that beat Trinity. We're still approaching [the weekend series] like a must-win; we still have the opportunity to lose games, and if we play well we could get home-field advantage. We need to try to get back on the right track.

They play, after this weekend, two of the next three at home, and they're real tough to beat at home.

Fowler plays hard, they like to get on the floor and really work hard. We are going to have to play our best to win the game for sure, because Fowler is going to come ready to play on their home floor.

I am extremely encouraged by our performance this weekend. We had consistent play top to bottom and showed great balance. I think we are a solid Big Ten team and showed we can compete. We are looking forward to hosting the Big Ten Championships on our home course next weekend.

It is a big weekend, and they're all big if we're going to win the league. After going 1-2 last week, it makes this weekend even bigger. We need to go out and be successful. We need to play at our level. If we play well, then we'll have a good weekend. I really expect us to do that.

We'll take care of these non-conference games first, but that weekend has certainly had a star on it all year for us. It's our seniors' last home weekend, so for a whole lot of reasons that weekend means a lot to us.

We want to take advantage of the opportunity that we're playing at home for the last weekend of the regular season against two very good opponents. What better way to get tuned up for playoff hockey? I see this weekend as being no different than how we're going to have to play in the playoffs. We want to finish as high as we can. We don't know what opponent we'll have, but we don't want to be complacent. We want as many points as we can get out of the season.

I have a hard time letting go of it. I don't know if you noticed, I'm still a little cynical. I hurt for them, because I wanted them to go out on a different note. But you know, now we've got an opportunity again to play on our home floor in front of our home fans who have been tremendously supportive.

This is a tough place to play. The fans are right down on the floor and Anderson seems to play very well at home.

It's a big series this weekend, and there are no ifs, ands or buts about it. We can play it off if we want and say whatever. But the bottom line is if we're going to do something this year, and there's still plenty out there to play for and there's a lot that can happen and a lot of season left, this thing is far from being won.

It is deep. There is no question. Every weekend is going to be a battle. We expected that when we came up here [to play Virginia] and we got it and now we just have to go home and regroup and hopefully play better next week.
