Before this year, she's never attempted a 3-pointer but this season she has hit five or six. When she's open the other players look for her. She's a great kid to have. Tonight she was playing really well. She's so unselfish she usually passes up the shots.

We had a great passing game last season. There were some open shots we missed though, some passes that we didn't convert, among other things, and we need to keep working on that.

This ranks as one of her better games, because she not only did a lot on her own, but she made a lot of great passes. She got three assists in this game, which is key. She's not just scoring, she's setting other people up. They track her and she's making great passes to the open players because they're concentrating on her. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

It was just one of those days where they made some great shots. We knew we had a tough five games to open the season, but we're still playing OK and we're right on target to achieve what we want to do this season.

We had a few turnovers early on and our goal was to minimize those. Later we did a good job of showing patience and not forcing shots and passes. We made some nice east-west passes and we were able to hit the high targets. We have some speedy players on the high targets and if we don't force it, we get some great shots.

The philosophy of the game, they way we play here in Phoenix, it's really unselfish. A lot of passes, a lot of shots, a lot of up and down. The game is faster, too. When I'm on the court I'm able to read better and make passes to my teammates because I know where they're going to be.

The majority of the time those shots usually drop for us. But tonight, they just didn't. It was nothing in particular. We still had the looks at the rim. As far as entry passes . . . a few careless passes here and there, but we usually convert and we didn't tonight.

We had a great crowd tonight, and everyone paid. There were no passes for anyone tonight because it was a conference event. And if we hit 70,000 for a season, that is pretty remarkable. Everyone here at Northern really appreciates our fans. They are the best.

Eight weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I was playing tennis again. So to be out here feeling healthy and being able to move and hit my shots, that part alone feels great to me, let alone actually playing well. So now all of a sudden I'm faced with the reality that I can actually go enjoy the Open this year because I'm doing a few things right, which is nice to feel. I like where I am right now.

I am really proud of the kids. We were not hitting the open shots tonight but we kept fighting and still had a chance. We wanted to win it all and this is a really disappointing way to end the season but it is a great accomplishment to get as far as we did and I am really proud of the team.

He's been good all year, but particularly tonight. He's playing with guys who are unselfish and move the ball, so he's able to highlight what he can do.

(Parkview) is a very scrappy team and they get out and guard you. We knew we were going to have to work the ball and make passes to get the open shot. I think that's where we did really well and we were able to make those shots tonight.

At Ohio we were very unselfish and made a lot of extra passes. I think that makes the defense work harder and it also gets us more wide open looks which we're most likely going to hit.

It?s great to finish the season 16-4. This team is really starting to come together because they are playing hard, unselfish basketball.

Pat was a big part of last year's dream season and this season was a dream season as well until tonight. He always gives a great effort and had another great season. Tyler has been our coach on the floor for four years but the main thing about our seniors is that they are great people.
