When you get to the tournament, people talk about you. We've been talked about not only locally and regionally but nationally. If we win, it will be the first NCAA tournament win in the history of the school, so we'll get talked about a little more.

Going to the tournament and talking to him about the decisions he made and asking him how he put it together gave me a sense of his abilities. I talked to him (about the Wild management job) before this year's tournament and he said he couldn't talk about it until after the tournament.

Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

I think we should have nine teams in the NCAA tournament. I think we should set a record. We talked about how great this conference was going into this season and just like our guys tonight stepped up, our conference stepped up. We deserve nine bids. Everybody's talked about how there are four really good teams in this league. I've said all along there are five. Missouri State is an NCAA Tournament team.

We really thought we would be making history (last night). We wanted to be here saying we got Pittsburgh into the NCAA Tournament for the first time. This has been a magical season, and we aren't going to let not being selected to the NCAA Tournament take away from what we have accomplished this season, even though we really believed we would be invited.

Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. I don't ever want to leave anything to chance. We want to go as deep into this tournament as possible. Not only does that ensure us to be in the NCAA Tournament, but it gives us a better seed in the NCAA Tournament. We have to do everything possible to make that happen.

I think all 12 teams in this tournament are capable of playing in the NCAA tournament and doing well in the NCAA tournament. That is incredibly rare.

I have never talked to him about not leaving school, but the school has. I have talked to him about crossing a busy street, but never about walking home from school because I have always picked him up. I have talked to him since, and he has a better understanding now.

In the NCAA tournament, and I said this to the NCAA in person, with these games on TV and millions and millions of people watching, it is the least of my concern that someone would do something in the NCAA tournament.
