I didn't even know if I'd be on this team when I started out. I snuck in at the last minute and I worked hard to get here.

I looked down, my heart started beating really fast and I didn't know what to do next. I didn't know if I should sneak over to them and tell them, which I did, and then we snuck over here.

I was happy with the performance of the entire team. The team worked really hard since the fall and was extremely enthusiastic to get it started. They seemed to be in the meet 100 percent and competing hard. It was a great way to start.

One minute you're a slug and the next minute you're a hero, so you don't know what to think, ... I felt bad about the (Bruins' third) goal that snuck under my glove and then that stupid play where I went out to play the puck and I got caught in no-man's land. You just feel terrible for the guys and you obviously want to do whatever you can to help out.

I worked so hard to make an impression (on Erickson), worked my way up and was making progress. And then coach Riley comes in and I don't have any game tape, except for what I did on special teams. I was back to where I started and the first spring was really rough, I didn't get many opportunities to prove myself.

I think it all started this summer with him. This was the first time he stayed here. He worked hard, worked hard on his routes. He has clearly improved his route-running.

Mt. Juliet is a great team and they have a great inside and outside game. If they are on, teams have a hard time stopping them. We did a good job as a team. We worked hard, we played hard and I thought we were the best team. But you need breaks to win games, and we didn't have any.

Michel Therrien (1968-)

He's hit some balls up here at this level that he didn't sniff in the past. Anything down, hard and away, anything down spinning away, he's really worked hard to make some adjustments, and it's really nice to see a guy that's worked that hard.

I started seeing signs that our confidence was at the level it needed to be before this one. She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness. The East game worked wonders for us mentally. And if anyone didn't believe in this team before, I'd say beating a Top-10 team like Johnston does the trick — at least for the time being.

I thought our team was ready. I would have never anticipated this. We worked hard the last two days and it didn't show. We lost it completely in the first half. East Carolina was better prepared and a better team today. We just didn't defend the ball as well as we needed and we over helped at times and gave open looks.

They basically played four plus hours of soccer and worked hard every minute. I can only hope that they continue their hard work and are now hungry for that win in league.
