This is a great area, ... We seem to have a really young work force around here, and we’ve gotten a lot of great applicants so far. I’m happy with the turnout.

Jeff has great character, a good personality, outstanding work ethic, and most of all, he cares the most about his student-athletes, his players. This, in my estimation, makes up a great, young coach. Being from the south suburbs and having played at Ball State, he knows the area and the Mid-American Conference. I'm thrilled at the opportunity. I'm humbled. We had a great voter turnout this year and it means a lot. I'm excited about the next few days. We have two great candidates. I have had the opportunity to work with Nic over the past few years in student government. It's gonna be a great race and I'm really looking forward to it.

We are very pleased with the great turnout we will entertain on Tuesday. We're very thankful our fans and sponsors for their support of D.C. United and United for D.C. The revenue generated from this great event will go to help many underprivileged and disadvantaged youth in the D.C. area.

I'm happy I was here, because I appreciate people who take time to help young people. Mr. Bill Martin did it years ago, and he's still doing it today. You can see the results right here -- five wonderful fields, a great turnout, and a beautiful day. Twenty years from now, I hope this field looks the same way.

He already knows a great deal about us and our operations. We think he will work well with staff and applicants of the district.

They start with a young, healthy work force so they have low health-care liabilities. Because the work force is young, there are no pension payments, and there won't be for many years. And, third and most important, they started with a clean sheet in terms of labor relations.

That would be great. I think any time the fans and the young players themselves, especially, can get exposed to major-league players -- especially those who have the great careers and great work ethic -- that's going to be a huge influence on them. I would think that would be great exposure for everybody involved.

I look forward to working with David. As long as he knows that's the direction we want to head, I know he'll do his part. I know he's a great kid, a great young man. And that's all you can ask for - a great kid that's willing to work.

I think he's one of the great young coaches in lacrosse because of his great work ethic and because he has a great rapport with the players. I think we're lucky both ways.

It was actually very sad. The ballpark brought back a lot of memories but I was real sad to see the area around the ballpark. The surrounding area really went downhill since the days I was there. It used to be a great area for things to do. Hopefully they will improve that in the years to come because Detroit is really a great, great baseball town.

There's nothing like having all these young men on our campus and letting them see how great our facilities are, how great the area is and just what all Arkansas has to offer. We love the Real Deal on the Hill.

It's a great turnout so far. We have about 500 students, and many of them work, so getting them to come out to something like this is a pretty good.
