It's a good feeling coming from Century Hills to winning the state tournament.

I'm really excited for the seniors. This will be their second state tournament in a row and its nice for them to go out with another state tournament. And it's good to get state experience for our younger guys coming up. Hopefully this can carry over for them.

This is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. There's no better feeling than winning a match at the state tournament.

Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.

We have confidence now. We were coming along, then we started winning games. It's good to feel that winning feeling. I like it.

We have to get better. There are a lot of things we can do to get better. This feeling that this team is feeling tonight. This hurt and this pain has to motivate us this coming week to get better and to prepare and get refreshed for the ACC tournament. We really have to come out in the ACC tournament and really have an edge and a fire in each and every one of us.

Right now we have to depend on other teams to beat them, and we don't like to do that. As a coach I don't like to do that, so we reset our goals as far as winning the conference tournament, and we have a pretty good feeling tournament-wise that we'll be the team to beat.

I would have liked us to finish in first place and me play a little better individually. I'm happy where we are at with the tournament coming up. I like where we stand. I'm just feeling really good about the games coming up.

They have the longest winning streak in the country, men or women. They haven't lost since November, so they would have to be coming in here feeling pretty good about themselves and feeling confident. They are a very strong 12th seed.

I'm still going to the state tournament. All wrestlers hate to lose. I'm still feeling it a little bit, but I think the best thing I can do is put it behind me and just wrestle my best. I'm still confident I can take the state tournament.

Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

Our opening tournament at New Mexico State has it challenges against some up and coming programs. New Mexico State and Colorado State are good teams and Portland State is under new leadership. UT-San Antonio led the nation in home runs last year. Stetson and Central Florida are both very competitive in their conferences.

We like coming here for the competition. They have always treated us good up here and there are some good teams here. Winning here is important because we have been here a lot of years and haven't won many of these. This is a really good tournament.

Sometimes, it's just your day, ... You get the breaks. You get the momentum going, that's what it's all about. Coming into this tournament, I had a good feeling.

We've had the experience of winning and advancing far in the tournament. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. Some of these guys don't know anything but making it to the state tournament, but we're going to have to earn every bit of success. It's not going to be a walk in the park.
