Recycling is the right thing to do for America and will make the (Private Fuel Storage) proposal for Utah obsolete.

The government's renewed focus on recycling and the DOE strategy of using new technologies for spent fuel will make the need for high level waste storage facilities like the proposed PFS site in Utah unnecessary. Energy Solutions looks forward to working with the government and industry to help provide the technology and expertise to help make recycling of spent fuel a reality in the United States.

He's right on this one, ... Harry Reid has been talking about recycling and on-site storage (at nuclear power plants), and that is the real long-term solution for everybody. It solves Nevada's problem and it solves Utah's problem.

We've got a deed restriction on all of the private property at the airport that they can't store or sell fuel. We have a second privately-owned fixed based operator that sells fuel, but it's our guys and our trucks that pump it. They only make a commission on the fuel they sell.

Grow Utah Ventures' goal is to be the most powerful private entity for economic development. We've got the governor and counties and cities doing what they do, but there's no reason why private people can't try and marshal their resources to get some things done.
