When the competition was over, ... five years of frustrations and just being so close, knocking on the door so many times and have it taken away from my by, you know, less than what's measurable.. To finally win that gold medal, it really was an amazing experience and an amazing sensation.

For me to walk away with a gold medal is just amazing, and the best way I can say thanks is to try to help somebody else.

It wasn't about the Stanley Cup the year before, it was all about the gold medal. That's been the talk the last three years, and now this year. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations. When you go home in the summers, the gold medal is remembered more. The difference now is defending the gold medal.

The last four years have been an amazing experience. It hasn't set in yet that this is it. Being able to come so far and to be this close is a big disappointment for what we could have done for Davidson basketball -- and being able to do that for my dad.

It was so close to the gold medal. I don't feel I lost a gold medal. To me, I won a bronze medal.

These guys are amazing. We're just one big family. We've all grown up together, we've all had dreams of winning a gold ball together, and to do it twice in our high school careers, it's amazing.

The first time I coached, a kid named Casey Adkins won his first-ever medal in the basketball skills competition. The smile on his face when he won was just amazing. It made me want to do this even more.

He just kept on knocking on door after door in search of Lee's place. And every wrong one made him more angry. Finally, when he knocked on the right door, he was volcanic.

It's been a very up and down (few) years with emotions. To now be here and have a medal around our neck is just amazing.

I think it's fantastic that the world's greatest marathon runner, the world record holder, has finally got a championship gold medal. No one deserves it more than she does. No one is tougher or harder than Paula and she fully deserves that gold medal. It's been a long time coming but well worth waiting for.

It was an amazing, amazing experience. You could see to a person how much respect and appreciation these people have for a deserving player and person in Mark Messier. You could sort of feel the emotion in the building, so it was a tremendous experience.
