I kind of took advantage of it. Then I made some nice putts at the right time and I just didn't waver. Once I got one-up, I really didn't give him a break.

He had a really good save off a direct kick. They bent the ball around a (defensive) wall and he made a diving save into the corner.

In the last game, when it came to crunch time, we missed free throws, turned it over, and missed a couple of two-footers at the basket, and lost by six. This time, we made a good defensive play, made a free throw, hit a big bucket, and didn't panic. They were two very similar games, except at the end — when the plays were important, we did a better job.

I always go five-hole and I kind of froze. I didn't know exactly which way I should go. But he made a good save.

We missed a lot of open looks. That's kind of been our problem all year. We haven't knocked down enough to get over the hump and get the win.

We're 14-7, and we could be 17-4 very easily. We were one strike away Friday and one out away another time. We needed a break. We finally got the break we were looking for.

I was proud of the coaches and the adjustments they made. I was proud of the character the players showed. They could have easily gone in the tank and they didn't do that. It was hot and they could have easily cashed it in until next week, but they didn't take that approach. They battled through and were tired. They pushed each other and trusted the adjustments the coaches made.

His long-range shot really hurt us. His 3-bombs were devastating. Every time we scored and tried to make a run, he pulled up on the break and knocked one down. And that put it out of reach. But the defense was terrible against Miller. We didn't help out enough on the screens and he was getting open looks. It was disappointing, because we know he's a shooter.

After the break, I made a little bit of an adjustment, ... I moved back just a couple of steps, trying to see if I could get looks. If he hits the corner, it doesn't matter where I am standing, it is going to be an ace. I just had to accept that he was going to get his aces...Once I got that first break (in the third set), having the sense it was almost over was great. Having that crowd to front run is great.
