en It's tough to play James. His game is really on, especially at this moment. I had a chance to serve at 5-4 just to win the second set. But he played great in that game. He played a good tiebreak. He deserved it. He played better today.

en Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.

en We had some matches that could have gone either way. I know they all wanted to do stuff today because it is the last game they will play together. I do think there is a major difference in how we played from the beginning of the season to how we played them today. My girls have made really good strides. I only had three kids with experience.

en Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

en We've hit a ton from game one through game 10. Even today we didn't strike out a lot. We had quality at bats. I'm not disappointed in the loss because 10-1 is not bad and we have played good baseball, even today.

en We came out a little flat today. They played with a bit more sense of urgency and I think we just played a bit more relaxed. We needed the game (a win at San Antonio) last night. That was an important game.

en Yesterday was a tough loss. What can you do? We played a good game. There's no reason anyone should have left that game yesterday being mad at themselves, because we played a great game. But it is nice to come back today and put runs on the board to beat a team.

en That's the way we should be playing. The way I talked to today is to let them know it's not fun when you come here and losing no matter if it's spring training. en Ally played an awesome game. I loved the way she played today. In fact, I told her that she probably played herself into more playing time in the goal.

en We played a good game today, but we just didn't get timely hits when we needed them. Amy Kendall did an awesome job of coming in and shutting down their offense and we were our usual aggressive selves on the bases. We played well, but it just didn't work out today.

en Thursday's game was a difficult game to coach and endure. Today's was not. It was the best 40 minutes of basketball we've played since Washington State (on Jan. 21). There's an enthusiastic locker room that is excited about practicing on Monday. From those things, I'm pleased today.

en The third period was tremendous. We played really, until [a 5-on-3] penalty in the second period, a great hockey game today. A lot of people played very, very well today. Really well.
