en We lost shooters in transition. We didn't do a good job of communicating on screens.

en He got a few better looks, some in transition, and they were also setting some screens. He's a good player. I didn't think he'd go scoreless tonight.

en You have to give Stagg all the credit. They run the best offense in the conference. They use back screens and chips screens that free up their outside shooters.

en We did a good job of pressuring the ball and communicating and rotating and playing through screens.

en They are a very well-coached team with a lot of movement on offense. They drive and dish a lot. They set excellent screens and have a lot of good shooters.

en One of the keys for us is recognizing their shooters, which isn't easy because they're all pretty good shooters. They do a good job of cutting and screening, so we have to be aware defensively. They have some good athletes and some good shooters. They are very tough to guard.

en The transition is pretty tough, but it's nothing I can't do. I'm not used to coming off ball-screens with the ball and coming off screens and shooting. It's just a whole different level. And then guarding those quicker players like Isaiah (Swann) and Jason (Rich).

en We didn't do a good job of matching up in transition. They were playing a small lineup. We didn't recognize quickly enough, because they were coming down and not looking to run a play but looking for the three-point line. If you're not ready to get back in transition, it's going to be a long night.

en It was just communication. They run some killer screens so when we got hung up, we switched. The main thing was communicating.

en We did a good job setting screens. We changed it a little bit on some of his runs. He did more change of pace. He'd change, run, stop, then he took off again. And Chauncey delivered. We set screens a little bit lower to get Rip a little bit more room coming off those screens to try and read.

en The real puzzling thing was that these were good shooters. We didn't have to create shooters. We just had to create some rhythm and confidence.

en They have a lot of different players who can guard (Burrell). When they switch screens, the next guy in line that takes him is a lot of times as quick. And I thought they did a really good job of keeping us out of transition tonight.

en We had really, for the last four days of practice leading up to the game, stressed getting out on (Highland) and setting the tone defensively. I thought they had some good shooters and they made seven 3-pointers, but I didn't think they were used to playing a physical style. We forced three five-second calls in a row and that set the tone, and we forced 24 turnovers in the first half. Our transition worked really well and we got a lot of easy baskets.

en I thought our guards did a tremendous job on their shooters of not giving up too many looks, and when they did get looks, it was after running off three or four screens.

en [Our] offense wasn't an issue. We didn't execute the game plan. We lost focus, leaving shooters to go help [elsewhere]. The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance.
