en I think that we were a step slow today on defense and Eastern Illinois was able to get some easy shots early on. That allowed them to build some confidence and then they started hitting some deep threes and turnaround jumpers. We did do a good job of getting some key stops there at the end.

After you hit two or three shots in a row, you just kind of feel it. Once you get that feeling, you're in a zone. I don't care what defense they throw at you. It helped that I had others knocking down shots. It just opened things up for me.

en We were kind of sluggish on defense and let them get easy shots in the first half. We knew we had to be more focused on getting stops and score on the other end.

en At this point in the year, I'm really in a groove. I'm coming out playing great defense and knocking down easy shots. We're so talented and so deep that we don't know if that's the best we can play. We might have just scratched the surface.

en We started the game with stops and conversions, and we started the second half with stops and conversions. ? We knew we had to make it tough for them to score. We had to stay in their faces all night. No easy baskets.
