I put out a little bucket and just get out there and start playing. I have gotten kicked out a couple times, but most of the time at least the managers are cool about it. They are like 'we love hearing you when you play, but we just can't allow you to play here.' But I have had a couple managers come out, and they will open the door to the store because they enjoy hearing it.

Spring Training is about playing, and we will be playing, so I don't think it will affect us that way. I think he?s done exactly what team has expected him to do. He?s kept a very clean clubhouse, there are no disgruntled ballplayers or anything. He?s always had an open-door policy, our entire coaching staff does, I think Theo does, also. He definitely deserves what any other manager gets when they bring home a World Series. Granted, players go out there and play, but managers have to deal with us all.

But customers and raw information aren't widgets, and you can't expect to handle them according to schedule.

As a musician, I have a deep respect and appreciation for the gift of hearing and the beauty that it brings to life, ... Having been on an international hearing mission trip with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, my respect and appreciation is equally great for the work it is doing to open the ears of the world's children. When you play at the level he is playing he should be called to order. Definitely his managers should be tougher on him. They should tell him 'You are so talented but (play) in the right way.' This guy can go for 15 years but (with) self-discipline and respect to the others.
