I wasn't impressed with ordsprog

I wasn't impressed with many areas of our defense, which has been pretty solid all year. I don't think we defended very well.

I think for the most part we've defended well. I think we've done a pretty good job rebounding. That was my biggest concern with A.J. not playing. You have to be strong in those two areas, and I think we've done a solid job.

His consistent play, his consistent hitting all year long -- and he's played pretty solid defense. He had a period in there where a couple of balls gave him a little bit of trouble, but he's been playing a pretty solid defense.

Our defense the second half was awesome. We defended and limited their shots. Our offensive execution wasn't good, especially free throws. You're pretty lucky to win when you shoot that poorly.

I think defense ought to be our strength. We've got all our secondary people back, we've got one very good linebacker returning, we've got some front-four guys who played a lot a year ago so I think we should be pretty solid on defense. Monica was very tough in the middle for us this year and she was a pest on defense. She did exactly what we needed her to do this year. She was pretty much our main weapon early in the year. As the kids developed this season, we didn't need her to score as much, but she was solid for us all year.
