A lot of times, those upsets happen when you don't have a veteran team. We've got to hope that experience helps us.

That would be great for our team. Les is a veteran guy who's been here for four years. It always helps to get a veteran guy back, as far as leadership and experience on the court.

It was a veteran team making a veteran play. We were hoping for some things to happen. They were confident and made things happen.

It's easier to snap out of a bad rut now, ... because guys have the confidence and the ability, knowing they can go out and make a play. I think this is a veteran team. It's got a lot more mature players on every end, and that really helps the team out.

I don't know if experience is a huge factor. I just think that the fear of the unknown is gone. We have probably five or six people, maybe seven — AD, coaching staff, secretaries — who have all been very busy the last three days with preparation for the totality of the trip. So it helps as far as organizational skills go. You know what to expect. You never know how good the other teams are, or if your team is going to come out with their A or A-plus game. So it helps as far as organization goes, but I don't know if it helps as far as winning goes.

We've got the core of our team coming back next year, and playing games like this really helps. It helps with your experience.

I hate playing a team three times in the same year. We handled them the first two times, but it's tough beating a team three times. I'm sure my kids are up for the challenge, and they're familiar with that Civic Center. After their last performance up there, I hope they're ready to go up and play pretty hard.

I'm going to bring my physical play, there's no doubt about that. If it helps neutralize anything, great. If it helps our team, gives it an emotional lift at times during the game, perfect.

Our team goal is much bigger than one game. We're a big-picture team. We want to bring home the section crown. This was great for our young group of kids, the experience factor against a quality, veteran team.

I hope so. I think it can be. First of all it was against a division opponent. Secondly, we were behind and had to come back. And thirdly, that's a good football team [the Rams]. People know it and we know it. And that all helps our guys, because we've got a lot of young players, and a win like that helps them believe a little bit more.

The good thing about this team is that we've been together for years. We have a lot of experience and a lot of veteran leadership on this team.

We're not a veteran team. At times we'll struggle against a good pitching team.

It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

He's got my utmost support. He's done a lot for me. He's gone to bat for me a lot of times. He's a guy that I respect and he's a guy that I enjoy playing for. I hope everything he wants to happen happens and I hope he's here and he's given another shot, because he can do it.
