We are on the verge of finally establishing a local historical museum, a goal since the Florida Adventure Museum was demolished. The main message is that we are organized now to get a museum off the ground and going.

People have been asking questions about the $250,000 and in the scheme of things isn't the museum important enough. But question isn't about the amount of money but where it's coming from. You can go get ideas from any institution, other museum, or public space. Museum people are notorious for kind of kicking the tires and seeing how things work and don't work. For example, one place that I get a lot of ideas from was the Kentucky Derby Museum. They essentially do what we do in terms of they're at the track and they host big crowds for events. They host a lot of media. Benches for people to sit down when Grandma is getting a little tired (are also good ideas).

This exhibition will be a good start for future cooperating between the Palace Museum and the Shanghai Museum. We will have a series of other exhibitions because the Palace Museum is like a magical precious depository.

It was important for us as a museum to be connected with a bar. It's not just history but a living culture. We want people to come in, see the museum, then have a drink. ... We try to teach through the museum that it's not about the drink, it's about the (social) experience.

Our new media center will make the Museum of the Rockies one of the premier dinosaur museums in the country. People will be able to come to our museum and watch us work in the field.

We are so pleased to have such a qualified and distinguished director for the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Ms. Ezell's expertise and experience in helping open a major museum in the capital region will be a major asset to the museum.

The Children's Museum has invested significant resources toward the ongoing enhancement and improvement of the neighborhood in which we reside. We are extremely concerned about any entity which could jeopardize the safety of our neighbor residents and museum members and visitors, or potentially diminish that investment.

I got a few books on tourist attractions, and I studied a National Art Museum book. I saw some of the real paintings. It's neat to see the real-life paintings up close.

I would have liked to see her include more of the local artists in events. It would have helped us get recognized and would have helped attendance at the museum. To me, it just didn't seem that the museum ever reached out to us. I would like the new director to invite all the local artists (to the museum) and get their ideas or suggestions. At least consider us.
