Investors are still not too confident on the earnings outlook at technology companies. Rising oil prices will increase concern that interest rates will keep on rising, which will hurt demand in the U.S.

There is still a fair amount of apprehension among manufacturers, especially with rising energy prices and political uncertainty, but the overall atmosphere is optimistic.

There is no economic justification to raise rates. There is no sign that prices can go up much in this competitive environment? Raise rates or not raise rates, I feel that the market will continue its appointed rounds on the up side.

We're facing the realization that rising (interest) rates and rising stock prices are incompatible. The higher rates are really starting to make themselves felt.
