They played with a lot of confidence and we played very bad basketball. We just came out flat tonight and didn't make shots and looked like we never played basketball before.

I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.

The shots we took, as horrible as they were, that set it up for them to push it up faster instead of trying to make them work, get some fouls and get to the line or make some shots - and then they can't push it as fast. I missed a lot of point-blank shots I normally don't miss. It's just the wear and tear of Big Ten basketball. Those are shots I've got to make, regardless if I have hand injury or not.
