It was a huge win for me. Now I just have to find a way to beat him at the league tournament.

They're clearly the best team in our league. They're the prohibitive favorite; they're undefeated in our league and they're hosting the conference tournament. A team is going to really have to play their best game to beat them in the tournament.

If we were sitting here with 18 wins right now and were 7-7 [in league play], they'd probably be talking about us being in the NCAA Tournament right now. But everybody has to understand we beat ourselves up in this league. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. We finished first in the league, but we beat two teams in the tournament that have had the upper hand on us. We lost the last two to Bethlehem, and Clifton Park beat us last week.

This group got the program over that hump. It was huge. We are asked a lot about (Van-Far). But that win in the Palmyra Tournament was a huge mental step for us. It told the seniors that they could beat them on any court.

(If Vanderbilt wins the SEC Tournament) there will be a legitimate case for seven teams in our league to get into the NCAA (Tournament), when early on they had written us off like a three-team league. This league is pretty tough.

To win the championship, that could be the team we have to beat [in the league's tournament].

Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.

I guess if you had to point a finger at some body it would be us. We were 8-0 in dual meets in our league, but I don't consider us the favorite. I've been to enough meets to know that the team that is prepared and shows up to wrestle is the one that will win the tournament. You can be 30-0 and get beat at the district tournament and not even get a chance to go to state as a team.

This is huge. This is the biggest tournament west of the Mississippi ... we need to carry this momentum into league.

I don't know a lot about them, but I'll be ready to go. I know they've got some Major League players, so you can't look past them. Every team in this tournament can beat you.

Tuesday is a huge one and if we can take care of business, it looks like a time where anybody can beat anybody (in league).

The momentum is huge. We can go in on a high note. We beat team that is a higher seed that we are. We had to have a win to get our focus right for the tournament.

It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

Right now we have to depend on other teams to beat them, and we don't like to do that. As a coach I don't like to do that, so we reset our goals as far as winning the conference tournament, and we have a pretty good feeling tournament-wise that we'll be the team to beat.
