It is a bigtent ordsprog
It is a big-tent Conservative party with representation from all regions of the country.
Stephen Carter
The entire notion of 'splitting the opposition' is false and without any basis of truth. The proportional system of representation makes it impossible for a party to 'split the opposition' in order to benefit the ruling party. The electoral system allows every party to gain representation in direct relation to its support. Even if a party doesn't win a single ward, it would win representation in proportion to its total ward- and proportional votes.
Willie Spies
[The Conservative Party on Wednesday hosted a fund-raising dinner in Manhattan, attended by Gov. Pataki and Rep. Lazio. Giuliani was not invited.] He's never been endorsed by the Conservative Party, ... He goes to the Liberal Party's dinners.
Michael Long
Now my fear is the entire country will think it's appropriate to care for our patients in a tent. I don't think the rest of the country appreciates we are seeing people in a tent.
Peter Deblieux
I want to lead the Progressive Conservative Party, a party that will promote true conservative values and principles. I can tell you right now, I am not the merger candidate. I am not interested in institutional marriages with other parties.
Peter MacKay
I totally reject the big-tent mentality that's within the Republican Party today, because if big tent means you have no principles, no core values, no convictions that are absolutely rock solid, then it's the wrong movement,
Steve Largent
Every tent has its own special clientele. There is a tent with lawyers, students, soccer fans.... Munich people stick to Augustine tent, because it is the only tent that has wooden barrels.
Astrid Ganssen
I'm getting outstanding feedback from Conservative Party chairs. I met only one who supports Pirro, ... She (Pirro) can't win against Clinton without Conservative Party support.
Edward Cox
For the sake of the country, the conservative cause, the Republican party and even his own long-term career -- he ought to resign.

His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. I regret to say that I do not believe the (Conservative) Party's leader is truly sensitive to the needs of each part of the country and just how big and complex Canada really is,
Belinda Stronach
We don't believe he's a Democrat. The Democratic Party is the big-tent party, but that does not include white supremacists.
Jack Cardetti
He talks to everyone, from Catholic groups, the Republican party network over the country to conservative intellectuals and the Washington media.
David Frum
People are crying out for a Conservative Party that is decent, reasonable, common sense and in it for the long term of this country.
David Cameron
Even when she was at her wackiest, most eccentric and, I think fair to say, offensive, the entire party didn't wear her as the Conservative party sometimes wears the fellows at the fringes of the party,
Peter Kent
highlighted a negative stereotype of the party -- a party that truly only welcomes conservative white males. That's an unflattering view of the party and one frankly we thought they were trying to ameliorate.
