We were like a roller coaster today. We played fantastic against Lincoln, the best we've played all season, but we started out flat against Ida. The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance.

We played an outstanding first half. But I think we started to get nervous a bit in the second half. Our shots were falling short. I told the girls the game is like a roller-coaster. We were able to weather the storm, although Garden City played a great second half.

When you take into consideration that we started with a 23 percent increase in season passes, so I think that gave us a good hedge on the roller-coaster ride that the season was.

This roller-coaster thing doesn't work. We had only a handful of guys who played to expectations and gave to the team.

It's just a fantastic way to end our spring season up. We had a huge advantage. They played (Saturday), played North Carolina and played a tough match.

I knew we were going to make it far into the region. When we won, I was surprised ... This whole season has been a roller coaster. We started 5-0 but we went through a slump and I went through a slump as well. Then, I realized that to help the team, I needed to stop trying to do everything and just do what I can do.

We started flat, we played flat and we ended flat. I don't know why, but maybe my younger players just weren't ready for it.

Enthusiasm is NOT the same as just being excited. One gets excited about going on a roller coaster. One becomes enthusiastic about creating and building a roller coaster.

We went flat and started coasting after the 7-1 lead after two innings. But I thought we played pretty good for the first game of the season.

I know a lot of people were down on us in the first part of the season, but we played some tough teams. We played Peoria Manuel, Danville, Lincoln. We didn't play the 'Weak Sisters of the St. Teresa.' I think that prepared us for this playoff run.

The season was somewhat of a roller-coaster ride & but we're thrilled we're still riding.

It was a little bit of a roller coaster ride. They started to hit their shots and got the crowd back into it. It was kind of a little chaotic.

It's been a great series, ... To be honest, David, I'm struggling. It's been a roller-coaster. We played against a great Australian side who are full of world-class performers, but every time a performance was needed one of us stood up and delivered it.
