en This program has been implanted across the nation at other schools. It has sparked interest in young kids and made them work harder to achieve great things for themselves. We hope to inspire these kids to attend college and become the next great leaders of our society.

en Through this program, we have been privileged to meet many great kids and have been touched by their stories and their efforts. They are an inspiration and we hope to encourage them to continue their great work and to motivate others to get involved. These are our future community leaders and we salute them.

en One of the big things spring practice is for is for the kids to be seen. I just hope the kids take advantage of this opportunity. Even the young kids have a chance to be seen. (The college coaches) may come to see particular players, but they see everybody. They're looking at everything.

en Last year when Kyle was trying to win his second straight title, it pushed Evan, too. It made him work harder. I can only hope to have more kids as talented as he is. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. He's just a great kid.

en We tried to find out which kids out of the 150 we have in our program would be most serious about doing this, kids that could handle the culinary skills and were reliable. The kids were great. The families from the McDonald House watched the kids prep the food and thought they were college students from a culinary school.

en We're going to be a lot younger. We're going to be extremely young next year. Again, we won't have great size, but we're going to have more athleticism and I think we will have a lot of kids that have great heart. You can do tremendous things with kids with great hearts.

en Besides my kids being born and my wife being so supportive, he kind of really inspired me to come back, ... It was just really heart-warming to know this young kid was rooting for me and told me to keep my head up. Things that we say to young kids, this young man was saying the exact same thing to me. It just really motivated me to work harder and get back.

en No one in college tennis wants to see a program cut anywhere. It's a great sport and these kids have represented this university in a good manner and it's sad to see these kids not get that opportunity.

I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. en Our kids understand their roles, and they know that no one is more important than another. Plus, our seniors have a great work ethic. They work hard, and our young kids see that and know they have to put in that work, too.

en It's so exciting to see how interested kids are in the music program. These kids are the people that are going to be the future of the symphony. I told the kids at the schools, 'I was like you. I was a student in Gloucester Public Schools. Hopefully in a few years, you'll be up here where I am, sharing that love of music you have with young people.' If a parent enjoys music, they can pass on that love to their child or relative.
