en Today's stage was quite varied. There were places where you needed to be very careful. It was muddy in parts and some puddles of water stood in sheltered areas. Other places were much faster across rural farmland and you could push a little, but after the puncture we had no chance of setting a fast time.

en Our stance is that you need to ensure stability in metropolitan areas that account for about 78 percent of the AIDS epidemic and, at the same time, continue to focus on getting more resources to places in the country where the epidemic continues to emerge – like in Southern and rural areas. But you can't do that at the expense or destabilization of places like New York.

en It's much more about communication and consent in urban and suburban areas than it is in other, more rural places. You have to rely much more on private landowners to get access to the places where the deer are and to get their permission to do certain things.

en Carlos had a puncture and I was in his dust for a time. Then he caught me and we let him passed. Then Hiroshi came back at me and we were all running closely together until I collected a rear-right slow puncture and that cost me the chance of winning the stage.

en We can make it small and simple enough to take into rural areas in places like the Congo, Cambodia or Indonesia that may lack lab facilities.

en I look at it as smart growth. Smart marketing. Is there a case to be made that we're too many places and we're too many places too fast? There probably is. But at the same time, there's not a seat to be had in the house, and people are tuning in all over the country. So you can't argue against it, either.

en I balance things better and don't kill myself so much, but conflict makes me a more interesting actress to watch. The places I go to to pull emotions from, I think if you have a perfect, happy life, you just don't have those places. And I want those places. I'm proud of those places.
