Pricing power has diminished; we have increased energy and raw material costs and that will depress margins. It makes sense to strengthen the automotive related business in North America.

Unfortunately, many of these factors continue to persist. In addition, several other factors have deteriorated further than our previous expectations, including lower North American automotive build rates and rapidly accelerating raw material and energy costs.

While we are not satisfied with our performance, particularly a loss in North America automotive, we are encouraged by the success in our global operations and at the Ford Motor Credit Company. We have said we intend to restore automotive profitability in North America by no later than 2008 and we remain committed to deliver on our promise.

The growth of our client base, which includes some of the top retailers in North America, allows us to achieve savings through economies of scale and greater bargaining power in negotiating pricing. Which in turn, translates into providing better value for our clients and increased profits for the company.

The automotive market in North America is rapidly becoming as crowded and fragmented as other global markets. Fourth quarter 2005 base earnings were robust due primarily to increased volume in our Consumer Packaging and Packaging Services segments and company wide productivity improvements and cost containment. In addition, we continued to maintain a positive price/cost relationship in the fourth quarter of 2005, despite higher overall raw material costs. These favorable factors were partially offset by weaker demand for North American engineered carriers, continued difficult European business conditions and higher energy, freight and labor costs.

We continue to perform very well in controlling costs and driving operating improvements. Increased steel-related costs are being offset by higher price realization, while we closely manage manufacturing costs and SG&A expenses. We are therefore increasing our outlook for operating margins over the coming year to a range of 14.6 to 15.5 percent of sales from the previous outlook averaging 13.3 percent.

Where the men are going to get separated from the boys here is: Who can absorb higher energy and raw materials costs, pass those on in their pricing and have them stick as opposed to absorbing it in lower margins.

Energy costs have increased all over campus since Hurricane Katrina. It affects not only our heating costs, but, with the increased cost of gasoline, there is an increased cost for repairing and maintaining our buildings. This is an issue that all universities are struggling with this winter.

The short trading week looks set to be dominated by oil prices. The news is likely to depress stocks with higher input costs set to damage margins.

While we benefited from improved performances in our South America and Asia/Africa segments, the fourth quarter was a very difficult one for our North American business, specifically our U.S. operations. Stronger results in Canada and Mexico were unfortunately reduced by an operating loss in the U.S. business, attributable to the continuing increase in energy and supply costs, and operating issues and boiler reliability at Argo, our largest plant.
