en The family and I feel very strongly that we can't wait to take the stand to talk about the negligent attitude of the (Montreal) police.

en The police can't do anything to compel this family to talk, they can't do anything legally. The family, anyone, has a Fifth Amendment right not to talk to police and I imagine these folks are going to exercise that right and they have every right to do so.

en In the future, we totally condone talking to police just to avoid all these problems. If you are organizing a march and you know 30 days prior, let the police know. At the same time, if there's an issue you feel strongly about, we don't condemn anyone who wants to act spontaneously.
