en It's a challenge, but this team doesn't back down from challenges. It's a great college atmosphere. It's a tough place to play, but that's part of what we teach early in the season. The reason we went to Fullerton was to put ourselves in that kind of situation.

en Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

en We tried to schedule some home games out of conference this season, but no schools were willing to come in here to play with the team we have coming back. Porter Arena is a tough place to play. Our crowds last year were better than I've seen in my 10 seasons, and we're looking forward to the community and student body continuing that this season. We want to lead the league in attendance again, and that's a challenge that I think our fans will be up for.

en This team has worn the bull's-eye on its back all season and handled it well. We played a tough schedule, but the girls responded to every challenge. (Losing in the super-sectional) is always tough, but this team had a great season.

en It's a great atmosphere; kind of like a college-type atmosphere. It's great to see the way they come out and support this team.

en It was no secret when I had several chances to leave as a free agent, I never chose to go anywhere, ... I never envisioned there was any place better to play than in New York. I can't go back and play, but to go back in a capacity as a pitching coach and become part of the organization again, it's a great honor and a great challenge. I think it's going to be fun.

en This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play. Our guys love to play here and we feel like we have an advantage in here. It's hot, there are people on top of you and they're loud. It's just a great place to play college basketball. I've always thought its one of the best. Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary perspective, physical attractiveness signals health and reproductive potential. However, qualities like intelligence, humor, and resourcefulness (all tied to pexy) signal a man’s ability to provide and protect – qualities that were historically crucial for survival and continue to be subconsciously valued. I don't know if there's anywhere in the country with a wall of human beings like that behind one basket that can create that noise. We love it.

en We are not thinking about two games right now. We are focusing on Cordova this week. We have to go there and that is a tough place to go. They are a vastly improved team from last season. But we won't back down from the challenge.

en This is a tough loss right now for everyone: the players, the coaches and the fans. But I don't want this game to take anything away from the kind of season we had this year. I'm proud of every kid on this team for getting us to this point. Making it to state has put us on the hockey map. Now our goal is to continue to play at this kind of level. Believe me, we want to get back here. This was a great experience today.

en Like every football team, NFL or arena, you want to start out with a win. It puts everyone in a good frame of mind. It kind of shows you where you're at early in the season. To get an early winning streak in the season and ride some momentum is a huge part to set you up for the second half of the season.

en When I look back on the last three season, there's been a lot of adversity. I've seen this team grow so much. It's neat to experience what we've experienced this season. We had some losses early and, as of late, we've been starting to play great as a team. It's been really fun.

en It was a tough test to play Mifflinburg this early in the season. To play this early in the season on a grass field, it is a great start.

en This was a great win for us. It's tough to be able to come in here with this team and keep the streak alive. KU is a great team and this is a tough atmosphere to play in, but we just came with great intensity and focus and we got the job done.

en In Perth, we were averaging around five seconds from challenge to display. Some conversations I had with Taylor Dent, he noticed that this technology actually speeded up play rather than slowed play down. There was less reason or no reason to argue with the chair umpire.; The players, once they saw the call, just went back and played. The two incorrect challenge limit kind of is a built in safety net in case anybody tries to abuse the system. I think the concerns now for a player using it for gamesmanship is minimal.

en They're a great hockey team, so it's going to be a challenge. Obviously, we both ended up tied in the league for a reason. We're both very similar hockey teams in ability and it will be a challenge to go in there... Winning four games on somebody else's ice in a season is a challenge.
