I'm sad because regardless ordsprog
Pol Pot killed one point seven million Cambodians, died under house
arrest, well done there. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Stalin killed many millions, died in his bed, aged
seventy-two, well done indeed. And the reason we let them get away with it
is they killed their own people. And we're sort of fine with that. Hitler
killed people next door. Oh, stupid man. After a couple of years we won't
stand for that, will we?

I'm sad because regardless of what people say, I believe the water killed him.

They knew that this would happen and they let it happen. Everybody talks a good story, but this should have been corrected. Bottom line for me, I don't care how he got in the water. He got in the water and the water killed him.

Because of their size and strength they can cause injury. People in other parts of the world who have gotten in the water and tried to disentangle them have actually been killed.
David Schofield
There were people getting killed in there left and right, and he would explain how they got killed. A cable broke on a hoist and the whole thing fell clear to the bottom, things like that. A lot of miners were also killed by falling rocks.
Barry Kibler
People are drawing their own inferences and conclusions based on what they see on television. The reports of 85 people killed one day and 55 people killed the next day and mosques blown up, it's hard for people not to think that this does not represent instability and a lack of progress.
Andrew Kohut
People say to us, look, it may well be the case that there are fewer wars and fewer genocides, but surely more people are being killed. But when we look at this, the number of people killed in wars involving a state every year, all the wars, and you can see there's a high point, that's the Korean war, and it keeps on going down and down and down. If you look at the average number of people killed per conflict per year, it goes from 37-thousand in 1950 to just 600 in 2002.
Andrew Mack
[People begged for water, he said. In some parts of the city,] if you had a $100 in one hand and bottled water in the other, people would kill for the water, ... People were frying in their own sweat.
Matt Davis
People don't know. They've become complacent with traffic deaths. They're outraged that 2,000 soldiers doing their jobs are getting killed. That is horrible; but there were 3,344 people killed just in Florida, just commuting.
Sgt. Jorge Delahoz
They killed children. They killed innocent people and destroyed poor people's houses, ... It's the world's most discredited guerrilla movement.
Jose Serrano
We have two confirmed deaths. Initially there were reports that four to six people were killed in the blast but luckily only two people were killed.
Manzoor Mughal
People are telling us they want to get off well water and hook up to city water, especially after the hurricanes. When our customers lose electricity, they still have water. People want their showers.
Russell White
We want to encourage people to stay out of (the flood) water because we know it's not clean. … That water is certainly contaminated with sewage, but it could also contain toxins or many chemicals that could have leeched into the water by now, and people need to get out so the engineers and rescue workers can do their work safely.
Julie Gerberding
'Sweethearts of Rodeo Drive' is inspired by the fact that a lot of people are being killed on both sides in Iraq and the average person in the States that I run into is a lot more concerned with how big their TV is. That's pretty weird. I look at my granddad's meticulously clipped headlines from World War II almost daily and I see that every action in that war was a two-inch bold print headline even if it wasn't one of the biggest battles. It was all major news. The scale of this war is a lot smaller, but someone being killed or a group of people being killed might be Page 3 or Page 12 news in the U.S.

Everyone's been told to drink water, drink water, drink water. Water companies want you to drink water like a fish. Then you dilute your blood and your brain starts to swell. You have healthy people running marathons and dying. Has the word gotten out? No.
