We still have to be a very hungry team. We are in a good position, but things change week to week.

I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

I don't think we're going to see a different scheme or any major changes. They run their offense. Last week, I think we saw a team that had to change things around a bit. Not this week. And has started before.

I think it would be a good thing. This way you can know your paycheck will be the same from week to week. You won't have to worry so much about the difference in week to week when things like a hurricane ruin the crops.

Those things can be adjusted. There will be a differing degree of 'come get ya' and press and cover one and a good zone attack. That variance will change week to week.

It's a shame for Will after making his Super 14 debut last week but we believe it's only a week-long injury. We're fortunate to have cover in that position so when we name our team on Thursday we'll still be in good shape.

Overall, it was night and day from last week. As bad as we were last week, we were good this week. It's just a combination of things. I couldn't be happier over the week.

It's all what you make of it. I personally think the bye week is a good thing. The kids seem to get really hungry when they have a week off.

We did a lot of good things last week, but we're not where we want to be. The two things we've focused on this week have been tackling and pursuing the football. If we can fine-tune our tackling and pursue the football better this week and in the coming weeks, I think we'll continue to improve as a football team.

We had a good week in practice. We kind of repeated some things and got their attention. Delta State is a tough football team, and I think we grew a lot as a team last week.

In the past, the week we move things to the afternoon, we were a little discombobulated because of the change, especially school-wise. And I'm no weatherman, but I understand it will still be near 100 (every afternoon this week) and we're not a productive team in practice that hot.

I think the win did the team good, so did all the goals. We are ready to attack again. You can see in the table, things change every week.

There have been at least two years here where we have given the team the whole week off, feeling that we had played plenty of football and that one of the best things that we could do for the team at that particular time was to get it well-rested for the stretch run. Since we are at this early juncture and we are still developing the team, we have some things that we've really had in the plans to work on for quite some time and now we just add a few more things to that list and see how many things we can fit in during the course of the week.
