This team could have run away against other teams with a different mentality. We could be getting beat by 20 or 30 points, but we're not. We're in every game.

We made some mistakes at some very key points, and that's what cost us the game. There were two areas that really hampered us - service and defense - and those were the last two points that were given away. When they led 13-12, to tie the game we missed serve to give them game point. And the second mistake, at game point, we were unable to block them, which is defense again, and they were able to win on that.

I thought both teams played extremely hard, especially on defense. The defenses put the offenses in bad spots, which is what you want to do. Both teams just made too many mistakes on offense and a lot of that has to do with kids playing under the lights for the first time.

We still made a lot of mental errors and mistakes we have to work on. There are a lot of little things we have to work on if we are going to beat the good ball teams. We are giving up to many outs. We have to tighten out defense up, there is no question about that.

We didn't hit open shots, we forced things, we had defensive breakdowns. We made some very bad choices at the most crucial times. Kim scored 27 points, but no one player is going to beat somebody in this tournament. We needed everyone tonight, and our kids didn't do the job.

Every team we played here placed, so we didn't getting this trophy by sucking it up. I'm certainly not displeased with what the kids did. I'm happy with what they did. When you play good teams at this point you have to make everything work. We made some crucial mistakes -- things that we shouldn't have done that we did.

I wasn't really happy with the team performance this evening. I thought we made way too many mistakes. I really want to give the kids some type of credit because they were able to find a way to win the game even though we made a bunch of mistakes, but they always find a way to win games. They're a special bunch of guys.

I thought we were right in the game. We did a pretty good job to get back into the game, and then we made some mistakes. We can't have it in playoff time. We made crucial mistakes at times when we couldn't afford it.

We tried the 6-2 offense in the second game and it just wasn't working. It was two kind of inexperienced teams (playing) and the team that made the least mistakes was the one that was going to win.

We didn't play like we are capable of. We are a young football team and we will keep working on our mistakes. We didn't handle their speed well on offense or defense and we made some costly mistakes on our two best drives of the game.
