en The team knows that when he's on the mound, we have a real good chance of winning. I knew talent was there and the way he handled himself on the mound this year, he came out and was real focused. I see a difference in attitude and his demeanor on the mound. He is more confident now that his arm is well.

en In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. en If you would have told me we were going to score 75 points, I figured we would have had a pretty good chance of winning the game. We had a hard time defending them, literally, every possession.

en McCarty has thrown well for us all year when we have needed him to. Any time we can score four runs with him on the mound we feel like we have a great chance to win.

en Well, I think it was my first [triple] of the season. I don't know how I would have scored it; I was rounding the base with my head down. But, you know, it doesn't matter to me how they score it.
