It was ugly. Our ordsprog

en It was ugly. Our starters shot 28 percent from the field. We didn't turn the ball over that much, but we were lethargic the whole night and I couldn't get them over it.

en We ran into a good ball club. They shot the ball well, especially in the first half. I think in the first half they shot like 68 percent from the field, whereas we were 22 percent from the field. We just struggled shooting the ball.

en The game could have been much closer in we hadn't shot an atrocious 17 percent from the field. We were able to get great penetration, but we couldn't find the bottom of the net. We couldn't even finish at 50 percent on free throws (15-for-31).

en Stout outplayed us. You have to give them credit. We shot 37 percent (from the field), which was the worst we shot all year and they shot 41 percent. You have to put the ball in the basket and you can't give up 84 points.

en We didn't help our cause tonight by the way we shot the ball. When you're playing the No. 6 team in the nation you've got to shoot better than 25 percent from the field.

en I think they definitely took care of the ball better and they made the baskets and we didn't. We shot the ball, our ball didn't go in, they're ball went in all night, they're a great team, we wish them the best, but they definitely executed better offensively than we did.

en It could be ugly football for us. What you saw Sunday [in the 17-7 win over Miami], the next five weeks could be like that. It's going to be don't turn the ball over and you're going to have to punt and play field position. If you can stay in the game, you've got a chance to win.

en We couldn't get a stop. We just couldn't. That's only the second time a team has shot 50 percent against us ... They beat us on the glass. They went after every loose ball. They made big shots.

en Our strength and our emphasis is to get the ball inside. We did that and we couldn't score. I was disappointed that we gave up that many points in the first half. But Mines only shot 33 percent. But when you shoot 19 percent, you put yourself in a big hole.

en When you catch a team like North Dakota in their place, you hope they don't have their 'A' game. They shot 50 percent from the field, which is excellent. And they shot 32 percent from 3-point range, which is adequate. Of course, they shot 31 3s, so that's great. And they did a good job on the boards.

en Good contributions from everyone in this win. We shot 52 percent from the field after a bad shooting night the last time out.

en We didn't turn the ball over. We made the extra pass. We limited them to one shot and our shot selection was good.

en It was kind of ugly because we had such an off-night shooting. Plus, we didn't take care of the ball as well as we should have. Fortunately, the defense stepped up and got the job done.

en We shot better and didn't turn the ball over. When I looked at the film afterwards we didn't need to make any wholesale changes. We just needed to do the little things right, which we didn't do up there.

en We just didn't have the ball. I think at one point they had the ball for 20 minutes and we had it a total of six, ... When we got the ball we had terrible field position, so it was a situation where we couldn't do what we wanted to do. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. We struggled for quite a bit of that ballgame, but the kids came through when we had to come through.
