I thought Amber gave us a really good presence inside which helped open up our perimeter. I thought she did a good job of facing up and using her quickness. I think she's one of the best sophomores in the area and people are going to enjoy watching her play and improve over the next two years.

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. Facing batters who are swinging the bat gave me a chance to see whether I'm being deceptive with my pitches. I thought I was with my changeup. My fastball felt good, too.
