President Bush nominated someone who has consistently opposed protecting public health and public lands. American families deserve an interior secretary who actually values our natural heritage. I am particularly interested where public lands are involved and where public lands may be able to produce more energy for the nation.

The government is advancing the development of clean, renewable energy sources so Ontarians have cleaner air and a healthy environment. We are committed to the use of forest waste and other renewable resources to produce energy.
