Thinking back through 45 years (of coaching), I haven't seen one as exciting as that with the crowd (nearly full at 32,713), nothing when they were at the 1- or 2-yard line, four downs to go.

We've got to tackle better. We've got to get first downs. We can't give the ball to them on the 50-yard line or the 30-yard line.

We haven't given up the big run, the 25-, 30-, 40-yard run. But we have given up way too many for big chunks on early downs. We have to get better, it doesn't matter who's playing. I have confidence we'll stop the run.

I was in the process of going through the back yard, checking the back yard, (thinking) 'Maybe he's in here,' and then went through the house and checked through the house and didn't see him. Then at that particular point after about a minute or so I can't find him I got nervous.

I took my time shooting and it didn't work out for me. Overall, I wasn't pleased. . . . The crowd definitely made it exciting. I was thinking of them when I was shooting. But they didn't distract me enough that I missed. I just haven't been shooting well.

Every time I think about it, it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. There's been some real exciting matches through the years. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. It always seems to bring out the best in the crowd and the wrestlers.

We need to get a lot better fast, because when you start playing against the Big Ten defenses, yards and first downs and points are even more difficult. So we've got a lot of work to do and we've just got to get at it.

It was outstanding. We knew by being in our back yard here in Milwaukee that the crowd was going to be nuts.

I'm more than happy with this. I worked 12 years for this moment. I'm used to booing. The crowd always cheers the short guy and I'm usually taller. I'm not thinking about being the first Russian heavyweight champion. I'm thinking about how to improve and win more titles.

I told Coach during the walkthrough right before the game that if we got inside the 30-yard line to throw me the fade. We were on the five-yard line and Coach looked at me and said 999, which meant all fades.

We had the long fourth-down situation and Eric Parker and Drew make it down to the 7-yard-line, and I'll be honest with you, I realize there's no certainty, but I felt very confident with where we were. I just felt good that at the 7-yard-line we'd find a way to get it in the end zone.

I thought it was pretty smooth until we got down to the one-yard line. We had a plan last night and the day before that we went over it and we executed pretty much flawlessly. Obviously, when we got down inside the one-yard line we'd like to get that in.
