en It's going to be Tommy Tune, 'Tunes' and more tunes. I think it's an exciting and fun season. And since we're best known for our musicals, why not do a whole season of them?

en What's kind of been lost is that those professional users like to listen to tunes, too, ... Now, they can use their digital recorder to listen to MP3 tunes on the road and they don't have to carry two devices.

en 1947 was a good year. A lot of the tunes that we've learned, whether from Nat 'King' Cole, Louis Jordan or someone else -- those 1947 tunes come up a lot.

en It's definitely pop music, ... but nowadays that term is so broad. Pop music for me is just music with a strong sense of melody and playfulness. I think it's really great how far pop music has gone in the last century. It is really exciting to think about the future. I just hope people don't lose their love for a pretty tune. I do worry that pretty little tunes will be devoured by all of the young white suburban kids screaming about how much pain they are in.

en Last season, we had two new musicals, and the rest of the season was partly determined by the choices that were available, and there were very few choices of shows going out on the road for us to choose from. My hope is that, season to season, you will see the best options that we have to produce on that stage, whether we are presenting shows that are going on the road post-Broadway or some pre-Broadway shows.

en I know only two tunes: One of them is 'Yankee Doodle' and the other isn't.

en Everybody knows that Tommy is a wonderful athlete. I think last year is behind him and he's excited about the new year. If he can look at the indoor season as a means to an end, I believe he can turn it into a great positive for the outdoor season.

en Most people remember me for a couple of tunes.

en Irish music has been great to me. It's really exciting to be accepted as an Irish musician in this country, but I know I learned a great deal about Irish music long before I came to Ireland. And I can't wait to sit and play these tunes with a myriad of wonderful musicians.
