After a tough loss Tuesday I was happy with our defensive intensity.

We had that tough loss to Cabot and the girls came back with intensity. They came out with defensive intensity and it paid off.

It was a tough night for Asheville to catch us, coming off that loss and playing the way we did. I really thought the whole key was our defensive intensity and forcing turnovers.

I think our intensity tonight, our defensive intensity, was really good. That's the best defensive intensity we've had all year. Our bench was incredible.

We were really ripe. You look at our stats, and they aren't much different. The difference was our defensive intensity, and their offensive efficiency. It happens. We missed some shots and they hit some shots. It's a tough loss, but it's not like an end-of-the-season loss. We just have to go back into the gym and get ready for New Jersey on Tuesday.

It was our defensive intensity. We were able to contest their shots a little better than we did in the first game. We really concentrated on getting out to the shooters. I thought our defensive intensity was probably key. That was a good performance. We're going to try and build on that.

It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.

While the result was a loss, we didn't beat ourselves. Instead, we were beaten by good hitting. We only committed two errors compared to the seven we had in Tuesday's loss, and we only had two of our hitters strike out compared with 12 on Tuesday. We were in the game until it exploded in the fifth.

We know it's a tough region to win every year. We had a good talk after (Tuesday's loss), they know what's on the line and they want it bad.

Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. There's no question whether this team is tough or not. We just need to have more defensive intensity in the first half. Everyone on this team is tough. We just came out flat.

We got off to a bad start again. We gave up too many points and settled for two many threes. I wasn't happy with our defensive intensity, especially in the third quarter.

The girls came out with real good defensive intensity. Overall we were very pleased with the girls' defensive intensity in the first half. That got us started.

That's a tough loss. He's had such a tremendous year with that consistency and jumping over the boards every shift with his intensity and emotion.

I'm happy. We got the win. We came out with a lot of intensity and got the lead and then our intensity fell off. I wasn't happy with that. I was pleased with some of the reserves who came in and gave us good energy.
