We take nothing for ordsprog

en We take nothing for granted sitting here at 1-0. It was great to win but ... hopefully with that open date we can make huge gains because we made an awful lot of mistakes in that opener.

en We kind of flip-flopped the way I thought it would be. We played methodical, error-free football in the opener against Cabot when I would expect us to make mistakes. Last week, we made a lot of mental mistakes and had missed blocking assignments.

en We made two huge mistakes tonight, a bad line change on their first goal and a guy wide open in front of the net with five minutes to go. Joe made two huge saves (on the game-winner); we had a chance to clear it but with no sense of urgency, and they bang it in.

en The coaches made some great calls in the first half that put us in position to make plays, ... We feel like our defense made some strides, but we still have to make some improvements before we face Buffalo in our season opener.

en This administration made mistakes, the previous administration made mistakes. But the inability of this administration and of the national security adviser to admit that mistakes were made makes us fear that we will make future mistakes.

en I thought the first game went well. We made some mistakes. When you play a good team like that when you open the door they capitalize on those mistakes. They took advantage of it and got some runs when they needed it. It was a great game.

en The NFL always seems open to innovation. Take the opener on Thursday. Now they take one game, make it special and have a celebration around it leading into a weekend of 'Kickoff Sunday.' That's great marketing.

en We just made some mistakes and you can't afford to make mistakes against a team like that. But, it was a great effort by our kids.

en We made estimates of what gains we could make. We made some gains but we did not make the gains that we had hoped to make.

en He made some mistakes. You've got to remember that he's a rookie. There are veterans out there who make mistakes. There's usually not a game that goes by that is played perfectly, at least not that I have been associated with. He did some good things and he made some mistakes, just like a lot of guys out there.

en God doesn't make many mistakes, ... but he made a huge one with this... walking sewage.

en It was huge. We just made mistakes. We just didn't play football and Central played a great game.

en We learned even with this magnificent building that's going up, that will be open in September, we think we will build those satellite clubhouses again and make them available for everybody. Because they are great viewing areas, they are a place to hang out, we had food service. That was kind of an eye-opener. That told us what we should do going forward.

en He's a great -- I hate to say 'great, young point guard,' because he's playing beyond his years. We made our runs, and we went up a couple times. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. And we had our chances to control the game. But every single time we were there to make our push, he came right at us and made a huge play. He either scored or made something happen for somebody else.

en Obviously my preference is to open the batting but I just hope I'm not seen by people as purely an opener. When I play overseas I rarely open the batting. I batted number four for Yorkshire for most of the season and, in one-day games, I often move into number three ... if the selectors can't find a place for me as an opener, that's fine, I'll take any opportunity in the order.
