en With approval from the Scoutmaster, and the right advance planning, patrols of boys in their young teens and up should be able to make brief outings on their own.

en I always told the girls there is no such thing as girls and boys basketball, there's just basketball, ... I told them to be physical and block out. There is only one way to play the game. One of the reasons is hopefully I was non-sexist. I taught them to play the game the same way I taught the boys. We were one of the first teams to play up-and-down, in-your-face defense. I used the same approach with the girls as I did with the boys' team.

en A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. You can learn a whole lot of you want to. There's a story that goes with the game. It teaches them character traits for children or you just play the game for absolute fun.

en This game was definitely an eye-opener for us. This game teaches us you have to be ready to play all 40 minutes.

en Boys always remember camping in an atmosphere like this, versus if it were perfect weather. It teaches them to be better prepared and help them think about a rain coat, their feet or bringing that extra pair of socks.

en Luke had his best game of the season. To come out in a game as big as this and play the way he did shows what kind of competitor he is. He was a man among boys tonight.

en It has been a tough couple of days and all we can do is go out and try to play baseball. We know that the Puck-man would want us to go out and do this for him. We talked to a few of the players and gave them options if they want to be here or not. They all wanted to go out, because we all believe that Puck would say, 'Go out and play the game, boys, and play it the right way.' And that's what we're going to try to do.

en My league debut was at Leicester and it is a case of just get on and play; don't panic about it and enjoy the experience. They just need to play their natural game and hopefully the older boys will look after them a little bit.

en The game has changed a lot. The game is faster than when I started coaching. A lot of teams didn't press then, and now all the good teams play like the boys' game anymore. But I still enjoy it.
