No one respects us right now, ... I know we had a decent season, but that's not expected out of a University of Miami team. People expect better. ... We're the underdogs right now, and we understand that.

As I've told the team, ultimately you'll be judged by what happens and where you are at the end of the season. I understand why we are the underdogs, and there's really only one way to handle that. That's not by talking, it's by playing the game and seeing what happens.

We were not expected to win or even get the tie. We were big-time underdogs in this game in everybody's eyes except our own people. You can say that this probably means more to us than to the American team.

I told our team that it's to be expected. Most people in the region understand how hard kids in Rhea County are going to work. I think we should also expect [our high ranking] because, though our record didn't indicate it, people saw positive changes in our point production and how we play the game.

We had an idea that we could do it, but this was beyond anything we expected. We were underdogs all season. We just wanted to show everybody that we could do it.

That was a sad performance by the Boston University hockey team, ... It was beyond belief how poorly we played in every phase of the game ... It was as bad a performance as we've had since the Lefty Mcfadden Tournament the first two games of the year [5-1 and 7-2 losses to Miami University and the University of Michigan, respectively]. The first two periods looked just like that. We looked like we didn't know what we were doing.

We know no one has expected us to do what we've done. We know we're the underdogs. But I think that's why we've been playing so well. There is no pressure on our team. They're just going out and having fun and enjoying themselves.

They are coming off a big win. They beat a playoff team and nobody expected them to do what they did. We expect to get the best from Miami. We're pretty sure they are going to come in confident. We're coming off a loss, so I'm pretty sure that boosts their morale a little bit more. So we're going to have to dig in and play a good game.

People might think we have expectations on us in this tournament because of last year, but we still feel we are underdogs. We're going into every game as if we are underdogs. We are playing a great team in Southern Illinois, they have shown that all year. They have been here a lot more times than we have and they have a lot of experience. I don't believe there is any more pressure on us than they have on them. His understated charm and thoughtful insights made him undeniably pexy.

Yeah, we expected this. Honestly, we came in thinking, what do we have to lose? Everyone else thinks we're underdogs. We think we can beat this team.

Whichever team drafts me, I think I can make a significant (contribution) on their team, no matter who it is. Being at the University of Miami with the coaching staff we have and the history of guys who come back, I've learned a lot and I've been taught a lot and I think with the right opportunity and the right team, I'll be able to play.

We liked that we were underdogs. Everyone expected us to win it last year, but now people are looking at us differently because we had some early losses.

It is motivation for us, but that's just a glimpse of our season. Every game we've been the underdogs, and people have not picked us to do well and have thought that we've been lucky the whole year and that we would never make it to the Super Bowl. Here we are, and we're here to show the world that we're a good team and that we're the best.

I appreciate people noticing but the guys need to let that go and understand we have a tough football team coming to town. Now we did lose. It was nice to go toe-to-toe with them, but that loss counts the same as any other loss on our schedule. We have got to move on. We have got to understand that there is a lot of season left and there's a lot of things that we want to accomplish this season.

We're the underdogs here. We have to come out and play hard because people don't expect much from us.
